Specialty’s Café & Bakery was founded in San Francisco in 1987 by Craig and Dawn Saxton with the goal of “providing a healthier and more varied alternative to the generally fatty and uninspiring bakery products” found elsewhere. Additional locations are scheduled to open this summer and fall in various West Coast locations.
