Veneers & Engineered Panel Products

Product Description: The world’s first veneers and engineered panel products made from reclaimed wood – all FSC certified and LEED compliant. Another innovation from the pioneers at TerraMai. These products are ideal for cabinet work, paneling, furniture, table tops, fixtures, case goods and even exterior siding. Our new engineered panel products are made with 100-percent FSC-certified reclaimed wood veneer surface and backer material– on an FSC-certified mdf, plywood or particle board core. These products mark another milestone in the evolution of reclaimed wood, as pioneered by TerraMai. 

Sources: Old-growth reclaimed woods from building demolition and other post-consumer salvage from Asia and North & South America.

Veneers: Teak (Tectona grandis), Asian Rosewood (Pterocarpus – macrocarpus and indicus), Redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) and Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii). Other species available. All FSC certified.

Cores: MDF, interior & exterior-grade plywood, or particle board. All FSC certified.    

Dimensions: Standard panel dimensions are 1/4”, 5/8”, 1/2”, 3/4” and 1-1/4” thick x 4’ wide x 8’ long. Veneer and panel dimensions vary depending on species and application. Other dimensions available.    

Character: Prefilled nail and other fastener holes, oxide stains, prefilled surface seasoning checks and occasional sound tight knots.

Finish: Comes unfinished, unless otherwise specified.

LEED: MR 4 (recycled content), MR 5 (regional materials), MR 7 (certified wood) and EQ 4.4 (low-emitting materials).
